Oaklands PTA is the Parent Teacher Association supporting Oaklands Infant and Oaklands Junior Schools in Crowthorne.

We are a charity helping to build a community around the schools and offering support for the schools.  A lot of our work involves raising funds to improve the schools, including providing financial support for the teaching assistants, which enhances the resources available to teach our children.

We also aim to have one major project for each school.  We are currently raising funds to help the Infant School fit out the new Library extension and to help the Junior School purchase tablets for the ICT Suite.

The PTA is for the parents and teachers of Oaklands - as soon as your child joins Oaklands, you automatically become a member of our PTA.  We want to help all parents get more involved with the schools, and to get to know each other - to share experiences and have fun together.   Have a look around to see what's planned and join in!

Well done and thanks to all our supporters in the Greenredeem scheme this year - we achieved 2nd place, earning

the Junior School £650!   We're not in the scheme again now until January 2018 as they rotate the schools, but please keep saving up your points until then - next time it will be the Infant School's turn to benefit & they've changed the rules so that every school that enters will earn a pro-rata share of £2,000, depending on how many points they amass - so every point will count!

Please let your friends and neighbours know about this (provided they're Wokingham Borough) and ask them to
donate to our cause come January.

We are fortunate to be very generously supported by Michael Hardy Property Estate Agents.

In addition to their sponsorship of our Summer Fete and Christmas Fayre, the PTA will receive £250 if you sell your house through Michael Hardy's Crowthorne branch.
